Blind Melon – No Rain

Ik was op zoek naar een heel andere cd, maar kwam ineens het debuutalbum van Blind Melon tegen in de kast. Wat een leuke plaat is dat toch. En wie werd er nou niet vrolijk van de videoclip van No Rain? Helaas overleed zanger Shannon Hoon twee jaar na het verschijnen van No Rain. De band heeft het tien jaar later nog even geprobeerd met een nieuwe zanger, maar dat heeft niet lang geduurd.

While I was looking trough my cd-collection I stumbled upon the debutalbum of Blind Melon. What a nice record that is. And that video of No Rain, just makes the sun shine. What a shame that leadsinger Shannon Hoon passed away two years after the release of No Rain. Ten years later the band gave it another try with a new leadsinger, but that didn’t last long.
